Story Kiosk

Story Kiosk is a new permanent digital display in the museum that visitors can easily use to record a personal history in their own voice. This exciting new project will allow us to keep track of the personal stories that make our town unique, stories that link our past to our present. We hope to hear from a wide range of community members to highlight the diverse, personal experiences and perspectives of Winooski

The Story Kiosk invites users to respond to prompts such as:
A connection I have with the mill is…
A special story about my family immigration is…
For the Museum's 25th Anniversary, a memory I have is…

These sentence starters will help people reminisce about the mill and give opportunities for a diverse range of participants to share how their family migrated to our community.  Anyone can add their own story at the museum or online through the Story Kiosk Virtual Portal.

Watch this video to learn more about the project and how to add your story!
